For families struggling to prevent a crisis instead of picking up the pieces after the fact, the mental health care system can be incredibly difficult to navigate. Each state and county has different guidelines and laws. However, as of last month, a bill that was introduced in 2013 will finally move forward in the house. Many people believe this could be the answer they have been waiting for. In the meantime, some families have taken matters into their own hands. Maggie Freleng reports.
